Kym came in 4th place at the Ms. Tweeter of the month contest of December 2009!  Let's start the new year right and try getting Kym higher than #4 (maybe #1 if we can do it and I know we can!) this time.  We have a whole month now to vote.  Same rules apply.  You can vote every 20 minutes.  Please get all your friends to vote for Kym!

Hard to believe Christmas is the day after tomorrow!  Been waiting for this then it's the New Year 2010!

Well, you may have noticed that this website has been a little wintery.  Got snowflakes falling down on this website!  Kym's forum also has snowflakes falling down.  Perfect for the winter season!  Take a look around the site to see which pages have snowflakes and which do not.  I had to enter a HTML code on each page to get this to work and not all pages allow me to enter HTML codes.  Those pages that do not allow HTML codes are updates like this, links, photos, videos, guestbook and the facebook group.  There are a few pages that do allow HTML codes and it's snowing there.  However, there is one more page that do allow HTML codes but I didn't put snowflakes there.  Which page is it and why didn't I put them there?  Hint: I'll have to remember to put snowflakes on that page this summer.   Leave a comment or send me a message if you know the answer!

As you can probably see, I've created a new background on this website then a new logo at the top of the page.  I've added a special site translator as well that you can find at the top of the main page.  I've found out people from all over the world are coming on this site!  So I thought it would be a great idea to add a site translator.  You just click on a flag to select what language you want this whole site to be in.  The forum can also be translated but for some reason, the unofficial fan club isn't.  I see there are some sentences and words that aren't translated but the great thing about this is if you see anything not translated (part of a sentence maybe), you can put your cursor over it then a bubble pops up to show you what it's saying in English then you can click "Contribute" in the bubble.  That's when you can make corrections or translate anything that isn't translated in another language... that is, if you know any languages other than English!  Unfortunately, I know very very little Spanish so I'm not sure I can really help much.  So it would be great if we had people coming and might know another language and can contribute.  If you don't see a flag you're looking for, just click on any flags and you can see a drop-down at the top and select what language you wanted the text to be translated to from English.  The site and forum has gone international!

I also added and changed a lot of new things for the forum.  So check it out!   Check the board about forum updates and announcements for anything new at the forum.

I've added another article about Kym's diet while she is in NYC in the "Publications" page.  More will come as they appear.

I forgot to add another item under "Shop" on the right sidebar, "Dance Body Tone" DVD.  I remember to add "Dance Off The Pounds" DVD but how did I forget to add the other new DVD Kym has??  Ah well.  Anyway, it's there now if you want to purchase that DVD or at least get it as a LATE Christmas gift!

In the Links section, there were unrelated links listed but I've decided not to use them anymore so I've removed them.

The Australian News widget on the "Kym's Home" page never started working again and I've contacted support but no response.  So I've found a site where you can get a lot of newspapers, magazines and journals that mostly Sydney have and read them online.  So I provided a link there instead.  It's not as much fun (in my opinion) but it'll have to do!

Kym is still doing "Burn The Floor" with Maksim Chmerkovskiy!  Just last night, "So You Think You Can Dance" Judge Mary Murphy joined them for the first time!  She will be dancing until the end on January 10, 2010.  You can keep up to date on what's going on by going to their main website or following them on twitter.  You can follow them at http://twitter.com/officialbtf    

I am no longer sending out weekly updates via email, twitter, myspace, facebook etc...  They will be monthly updates now.  I will, though, continue to post any updates on the blogs here on this website as anything new comes up then I'll post the links to those blogs in the monthly update.  Each montly update will come up at the end of each month.  Since it's near end of December, I will not send another update via email, myspace, facebook or twitter at the end of December before New Year.  Instead, the monthly updates begins the end of January then the next one comes the end of February etc...  I'll be posting anything new in between or during the months only on this website if you do not want to wait til you get monthly updates in your inbox, twitter or whatever.  Well, I'll continue to do what I normally do on facebook and twitter but no weekly updates in your inbox.

Another week of updates!  I didn't forget to update Kym's fans on this site from last week.  I had a final exam to prepare for so I didn't have time to update this site last week.  So I've been here today trying to update some things and add some new things so no one gets behind.  It does seem that I often forget to post some things so I wait til the end of the week or the weekends to do so! I might have to "recruit" a co-administrator so I have someone who can help me keep things up to date around here.

If you've been to the main site, you'll notice that the photo of Donny and Kym holding their trophies have been replaced by the "Burn The Floor" logo!  Donny and Kym have won DWTS at last but time to move on!  The banner at the very top of this site is still there for a little bit longer.  I don't know why Kym said in her last blog on okmagazine.com that she'll be on "Burn The Floor" until January 4th but it looks like she'll stay around until the end on January 10!  And that REALLY is the end.  "Burn The Floor" is cutting their show short and ending earlier than originally planned.  This means that the other DWTS pros Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska will not be performing on "Burn The Floor" at all as "Burn The Floor" will definitely complete their NYC shows on January 10, 2010.  Mary Murphy from "So You Think You Can Dance" will go on though from December 22nd to January 10th.  According to an article about this, it's due to the fact that the show isn't selling enough tickets so they've decided to stop earlier than planned. So if you haven't seen Kym on BTF yet and you'd like to go, hurry up and get your tickets!

So after January 10, who knows what Kym is doing??  Probably going back home to Australia to be with family until DWTS starts again in Spring 2010... that is, if she is asked back and we hope she is!  None of the pros know for sure if they are back for season 10.  The show lines up all the celebrities then figure out which pros to match them up with then they call up the pros if they're needed.  Since Kym has been on the show in season 3, she has never missed a season and now that she has a title in America, she's tempted to defend it!  Kym has been loyal and always asked back so we could be seeing her again in season 10 but let's wait and hope!

As far as publicity goes, Kym is getting a lot of it!  Seems that her win on DWTS in America has given her a boost in her career and popularity.  I think her fanbase has also really increased a lot, thanks to Donny Osmond!  There are more articles and interviews now on the "Publications" page, a new video of an interview about "Burn The Floor," Christmas and her two newest DVDs.  Continue to keep an eye on the publications page as more are being added often now that Kym has been busy with BTF and won DWTS for the first time in America! 

More people have been sending Kym messages on her "Write To Kym" page so that's good that people want to really connect with her even if Kym doesn't have a lot of time to read messages and probably need constant reminders from me about the page!  But you never know, she may have been reading them a little bit.  Christmas is coming so I think Kym would love some Holidays wishes!

Our forum is picking up a little bit and I've added a new board for "Burn The Floor."  Three videos with Kym and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are there.  Oh, and they're on the main page too so you'd have an idea what their show looks like in NYC.  So let's hope our forum continues to pick up!  It's always great to talk with other fans about Kym and what she's doing right now.  Here are some discussions going on right now from this past week or so:

We did it!!!!!  Donny Osmond and his partner, Kym Johnson won season 9 of "Dancing With The Stars" in the USA!  They  tied with Mya on the judges' leaderboard but it was our votes that got them the trophy!  Kym placed second twice in America but this time, she finally came in first, which was a real dream come true to her!  She is the only professional dancer in the world to get a title on DWTS in two different countries and is now a two-time world DWTS champion!

Now what's next?  Right now, Kym is starring and back on the dance production, "Burn The Floor," which she did years ago but they are doing their shows in NYC and she will be there between November 27 and January 4.  Tickets are on sale right now from $59.50 to $111.50 and it is at the Longarce Theatre.  Prices include a $1.50 facility fee.  Kym is starring there with DWTS castmate, Maksim Chemerkovskiy right now.  If you'd like to attend, you can buy your tickets here. Tickets are on sale through January 10 but Kym said in her final blog that she is there until January 4, 2010.  The box office is located at 220 West 48th Street in New York City.  Box office hours are Mondays to Saturdays at 10a.m.-8p.m. and Sundays at 12 noon to 6p.m.  You can pick up your tickets in person at the box office but you should pick them up 15 minutes before show times.  Please go to their website for more.  Their FAQ is near the bottom of the page.

For some reason, the Australian news widget on the "Kym's Home" page isn't functioning very well and I don't think there is much I can do to fix it.  It loads very slowly or not at all and I've tried to replace the code but no luck.  Guess we will have to wait it out!

Feel free to go to the "Write To Kym" page and congratulate her on her win!  A few other people have written to her.  I will have to remind Kym on her facebook a little later about this website and we'll see if she'll fit the time to read a few messages but with "Burn The Floor," time is tight for her but you never know.

I haven't been updating this website that much during the season because I give updates on Kym while on DWTS through facebook, twitter and myspace mostly.  Now that the season is over and there's more time, I've uploaded a lot of photos and videos from season 9 of DWTS!  If you are a member of this site, you can easily go and drop a comment!  If not, it's very easy and quick to register!  You can also upload videos and photos as well.

If you have facebook, come join the group for Kym Johnson or also known as "Kym's Unofficial Fan Club" but it was organized by me, not Kym!

Last but not least, Kym's forum is still around!  Please feel free to come in and chat with people about Kym's win!!!!  The chat room I had on the main page of this website has been removed.

We're about to go into week 7 of  "Dancing With The Stars!"  If I'm right, it'll be a couple more weeks until the semi-finals then the finals and Donny and Kym are still here!!!  We had a double elimination last week where Louie Vito and Melissa Joan Hart were eliminated.  This week, we got one more double elimination so be sure you vote!  There will be another "Knock out" dance between two couples who are in the bottom two and once they have to do the "knock out" dance, we cannot help them!!!  It's in the hands of the judges who will decide who gets eliminated after the knock out dance.  So we need to vote a lot to keep Donny and Kym out of the bottom two so they do not have to do the knock out dance!

A video of Donny and Kym's Jitterbug is uploaded on their webpage.  Tomorrow is their Quickstep.  Let's hope for some 10s all the way to get a 30!!!  They are doing very well and if they're going to get into the finals, they have to be sure to step it up after that 24 in their Jitterbug and we have to be sure to keep voting!  Create more email addresses because the number of votes allowed are reducing every week.

Kym will be busy just a few days after the Finale until mid-January as she will hit New York with Maksim Chmerkovskiy to do a broadway of "Burn The Floor".  Remember she did that in 2001?  Seems like the good ole days!  This would be good for Kym and give her more recognition of everything she has done.  The article about this is in the Publication page.

Good news for this week is we got more members joining us!  AND they're writing to Kym!  So if you haven't written to Kym, why not start now?  She may not read this site but she knows about it so you never know!

Kym now has a new official website!  Go to www.kymjohnson.tv.  It's in the links section now.  Lots of pictures, press and bio!  I'm not sure whether there will be more going on there but that's what they have so far for now.

We still have our forum and we have members there so let's chat  more about Kym and Donny on DWTS or anything else about Kym!  The chat room also still exist.  Come in whenever you want!  Check the schedule in the room to see if others will be there for you to chat with!

So keep voting for Donny and Kym on DWTS.  It's getting more and more important to vote now to keep them in!  You may already know that Donny is not only trying to beat Marie but raising more money for local children's hospitals get.  The longer they stay, the more money sick children in hospitals can get.  Kym has been in second place twice.  Let's get her the trophy this time! Looks like I'm behind again!  As I looked at my last blog, I am 2 weeks behind.  Oops!  Well, if you are following me on facebook, myspace or twitter, then you're pretty much good with me!

Ok, so we're in week 6 of "Dancing With The Stars" and Donny and Kym are still here!  They've danced the Charleston then the Argentine Tango.  The Argentine Tango gave them the highest score of 29!!!!!!!!!  Let's hope they keep it up as they dance the Jitterbug tomorrow.

As far as this website and forum... looks like I've decided to throw out the boards for generally DWTS like other pros, past seasons, judges etc... I was hoping that adding those boards would gain more activity but no luck.  We do have a few more members which is great and I'm sure we'd all love to chat more about Kym on DWTS while she's on her journey to get that trophy with Donny Osmond!

A few photos have been uploaded in the last two weeks.  Notice anything missing from the top menu?  The DWTS Game Room is gone!  Again, I decided to make this site more on Kym rather than all of DWTS as my original plan to get more activity by getting more stuff about DWTS failed.    I often check the site stats (to see how many people are visiting the site every day and what they are doing and where they go on this site) and see that the DWTS game room is not popular.  I'm running out of poll ideas and creating new questions and jigsaw puzzles are a little bit time-consuming so I decided to do away with the game room. 

Check out the right sidebar under "Shop".  Kym has a new DVD out!  it's called "Dance Off The Pounds" from DWTS starring Kym Johnson, Lacey Schwimmer and Dmitry Chaplin.  It's set to be released December 1, 2009 but you can go ahead and pre-order it now!

Donny and Kym's webpage has a couple more videos from "ET" and their routines then another new article about their latest dance.  I added in my latest blogs for week 4 and week 5 then Kym's blogs #8 and #9 from the OK! Magazine. Donny and Kym have also attended the "Millions of Milkshakes" event and made their own milkshakes!  Kym shared all about it in her blog the week before last and just this past week, she added photos, including one of herself and her MOM who came all the way from Australia!!

Well that should cover it!  Tomorrow is another day, the Jitterbug and the Mambo competition!  We're halfway through so be sure to VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!  Get everyone you know to vote too and give them all the information they need.  You know what to do! I'm running behind on this site!  Fortunately, if you are following me on myspace, twitter or facebook, you might be pretty much caught up.

New jigsaw puzzle and poll is up in the DWTS game room.  I also uploaded a few more videos from this season.

If you have noticed that once you came on this website, it is quiet, that is because the DWTS widget with previews or clips have been removed from the right sidebar.  I felt it was distracting.  If you liked having it there and want it back, let me know!

The forum and chat room needs more activity but what's great is we're getting a few more members!  So stop by the forum to say hi or you can discuss about next week's dance which is the Charleston!

My blog for week 3 is also up already.  I will be posting photos from that dance when I write my blog for week 4 when they do the Charleston!  They weren't up at the time.

I also added a few links on Donny's and Kym's page and got caught up when I posted some news and videos from their Jive and Rumba.

Tomorrow October 12, Donny and Kym will be at the "Millions for Milkshakes" event @ 9pm!  The location is 8910 Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood.  Yesterday, Donny hosted the Danny Gans' "Run for Life."  Here is the news coverage on that.  Also, Donny's newest single, "I Have You To Thank" is coming out and radio stations will be able to play it tomorrow.  So let's get the word out about Donny more by calling in our local radio stations and requesting that they play the song and ask them to tell their listeners to vote for Donny and Kym on "Dancing With The Stars."  Include the phone numbers to call to vote which is 1-800-868-3405.

Kym has been coming out in the public herself!  She appeared on the Australian "Morning Show" as well with Kylie Minogue, who was a contestant on the Australian "Dancing With The Stars" just this past season.  Kym also appeared on the radio show with Olivia Wilder.  The show is about 40 minutes long though she was supposed to stay longer but also supposed to leave sooner!

So tomorrow is week 4 and they will do the Charleston.  Don't forget to vote!  You CAN vote during the show!  Look out for my next blog.  Oh and speaking of blog, Kym's 7th blog on okmagazine.com came out as well.

Week 2 for Donny and Kym went great and they are safe!  Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani were eliminated.

New jigsaw puzzle and poll is up.  What did you think of Australian guest judge Baz Luhrmann?  Take the poll in the "DWTS Game Room"!

Donny and Kym did the Jive this week and next week is the rumba.  You can catch their Jive from the blog I posted yesterday along with pictures.  I posted another blog for week 2, posted a link for pod casts that Donny does every Monday morning, a link to Donny's "Vote for Donny" items at his store at donny.com.  I've went back and updated the news section as well then put up more videos.

The chat room is going okay with just a few people coming in and out and chatting.  The forum is still ongoing so please join and post if you haven't already. 

Kym went on the Olivia Wilder show last night and spoke to fans for almost 40 minutes.  She sounded really great and very excited about working with Donny.  I will be posting it on youtube very soon in pieces since youtube only allows 10 minutes videos.  I'll also tweet it.
